What we do
Filing trail
What was actually filed and when (audit report, CIT settlement, annual report, foreign-related reporting) checked against the record.
Public credit standing
Whether the company is listed as operating abnormally, whether the legal representative is restricted, and what a Chinese counterparty sees when they look you up.
Licence & scope drift
Whether what you now invoice for is still covered by your registered business scope, and whether address, capital or shareholder changes were ever filed.
Exposure & fix list
A ranked list of what is wrong, what it risks, and what it costs to put right, with the items that must be fixed before an exit flagged separately.
The order of an exit
Deregistration runs in a fixed order and it starts with tax clearance. That is where timelines blow out, because the bureau can revisit years of filings before it signs off. Which of the later steps apply depends on what the company has been doing.
Close, sell or keep
A dormant entity still costs money every year in bookkeeping, filings and address hosting, and that floor is paid at zero revenue. Walking away instead gets the licence revoked and puts the legal representative on a national restriction list. Where the licence or its qualifications are worth something, selling the company can be the better option, and we will tell you when it is not realistic.
How it runs
- Tell us where you are. A company that is still trading, or one that has stopped, in the form below.
- The check and the report. A ranked list of what is wrong, what it risks and what it costs to put right.
- The fix, or the exit. We scope the remediation and coordinate it. If the answer is to close, we project-manage the deregistration.
Tell us about the company
Fill in what you know. Blanks are fine — they are what the first conversation is for.
When the fix needs someone at a counter
We run the errands the fix list turns up: filing the changes that were never filed, getting certified copies, and chasing a filing that has stalled.
Business agency & filing supportCommon questions
- What happens if I miss the annual report?
- The company is listed as operating abnormally on the public credit system, which is visible to banks, customers and partners. Prolonged non-compliance escalates to fines, restrictions on the legal representative, and ultimately revocation of the business licence, and a revoked licence is far harder and more expensive to resolve than a deregistration would have been.
- How long does it take to close a company in China?
- Tax clearance is unpredictable and must finish before anything else. The 2024 Company Law added a simplified deregistration route for companies that wound down cleanly with no debts. Our answers library covers how to close a company in China and what annual filings a Chinese company must make.
